Merry Christmas with MiLeS oF sMiLeS all around!

On December the 16th, Dan and Stephanie got married!
It was a gorgeous wedding. Melissa made both cakes, the bride's and groom's cake. Stephanie wore a beautiful dress that shimmered when she moved. it had a long train and stunning long veil, and her hair was done up prettily. Dan had to keep from making a smile that, if it could, would go a mile long. :-)
There were roses and baby's breath for decoration.
Melissa played a number of beautiful songs, Daddy preached from the Bible, and we took pictures.
In the very middle of this, although (very thankfully) not many people heard this, a long BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! was heard. Could you believe I forgot to empty my memory card?
Aside from that, everything was just so pretty.
We blew bubbles when they came out to go to the car, and then everyone headed to our home.
The chocolate eminence (the groom's cake) was so good, it was gone before a few of us got to taste it.
The butterscotch cake (the bride's cake) was so good as well, that the top two tiers disappeared.
(Look at Dan's smile!!!!) ------->
(if any of my pictures are blurry, please feel free to blame my camera.... heheh! :) )
Well, I was just updating my blog! I hope everyone has a very marvelous, very grand, and a very awesome Christmas!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH MiLeS oF sMiLeS aLl ArOuNd!!!

Fishing in the Christmas Season

This is what Christmas Day looked like at our house last year. Crazy, am I right?

Well, as I've probably already said in my last post, after Thanksgiving dessert---no, let me rephrase that---as SOON as Thanksgiving dessert has been eaten, it Christmas season! I can still remember last year, when Christie and Joe argued over whether Christmas season was after dessert, or the day after Thanksgiving.

And tomorrow, I'm going fishing! I'm going with Me, Myself, and I. No, just kidding lol ;). I'm going with my mom, my dad, and my brother-in-law, Michael. and me.
But, take note, Michael said we're going 'catching, not fishing.'
We're getting up at 5:30 so we can get there for high tide, I think, I forgot. Sam wanted to go, but if I don't know him, he is NOT willing to get up at 5:30. He's the Night Owl, I'm the Early Bird. Not that Sam is grumpy or anything. Though I do find you're a lot chirpier if you go to sleep on time and get up early.

Well, a very Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you all!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is just right around the corner! It's a rule in our house, that when dessert has been finished on Thanksgiving Day...night...it's Christmas season!!
Although you may think I am quite crazy, Thursday morning I wrapped the VERY LAST Christmas gift on my list for people. If you get what I mean. haha ;p. AND IT'S STILL NOVEMBER!!!!! I am over-the-top excited for Christmas Day to come so I can give my gifts out.
Yes, amigos, 'I am PREPARED!' that's a quote from 'Hoodwinked', said in a hillbilly accent.
Yo tengo una familia grande. That's Spanish for 'I have a large family.' Pointing out that I have to get a lot of gifts. Yeah, I am learning Spanish!

So, Sam and I are building a fort! yeah... another one.... but this time, it'll be even better! It's out of sight, unless you REALLY really look for it, and it's going to be---we're hoping it will be--- taller than our last fort!

Sam: What if the walls rot and the ceiling falls down...... and we're in it?!
Me: Sam, it won't.
Sam: It might!
Me: Whether or not it rots, there will be stakes holding them up. And we can re-build it.
Sam: .........I still think this is a bad idea.

but, other than that, Sam is working hard on it, despite his skepticism.
Well, I should go. I'm hearing sarcastic remarks about 'if you spend too much time on the computer, you will grow up to be really stupid and your brains will rot.'

Fall, Fall, Loverly Fall

Ahh, what a fantastic season! my velly favorite. Warm in the day, and very cool at night. You can wear your favorite sweaters to church in the morning, and in the day, it's just so perfectly warm! And it looks so pretty with the red leaves.
Once, I was doing something in the kitchen, and I just happened to glance out our window and see three birds on our porch. One was in the birdbath, and one was flying about, and the last one was hopping around on the porch. It actually made me feel like it was spring, because of all our greenery
left in the woods.
The only fault with fall is that we can't swim anymore!
But I suppose fall is also more of a baking season..... yum!

I end this post with awe at the beauty that surrounds me everywhere I go, Dear Reader, and I hope you leave this post feeling the same way.

Snowman Village! And Pictures!

Sweet Caroline
This is called....Grasshopper Pie. It tastes very good, though. It has chocolate, mint, and an Oreos crust. And lots of grasshoppers. Just kidding. :-)
Sam took this picture, actually. It is very hard to do, I suppose, although I KNOW it's hard to do with my camera. It's a sailboat. Just so you know.
Hummingbird feeder

Last night, Sam, Emmy and I slept on the trampoline! It was the perfect temperature, and the wrong place to sleep. I slept in the middle. And guess what. I had every elbow and knee sticking into my stomach and back. Oh joy. This morning, at, yes, Reader, 4:17 precisely, I went inside to get a sweater. Naturally, I presumed, since the lights were on, that Daddy was up, and it was 6:30. But, was I right? Oh, no, not nearly. It was Joe and Christie. They were playing Age of Empires with Dan. They had just finished, and were watching movies. Or episodes. I was squinting (since I didn't have my glasses or contact in, of course) at the clock, and had just made out what time it was, when Christie nearly scared me out of my wits.
"Good morning, Molly!" said Wide Awake Christie. Joe hardly glanced up. Yeah, busy, I presume, watching a movie?
Of course, I didn't express anything when she scared me. I told her "Good morning, it is very cold outside" and I zipped upstairs, back down, and was, with Very Warm Socks compared to the Very Cold Air, back, snuggled deep into my sleeping back.
-----Minutes later----oh, hours? Sorry. My bad. ---
7:30
"AAAAAHHHHH! No, STOP, NO NO NO! CHRISTIE!!! MOLLY, HELP ME!!!" Sam shrieked. I could hear him VERY clearly. And if I missed my mark, very VERY VERY clearly.
"No." That was my reply. "Good nigh-- CHRISTIE!!!!!!!!"
Now I knew what had happened to Sam.
"My feet are frreeezing!" Christie said.
"Yeah, so Sam and I NOTICED."
I am not looking forward to more "Molly, it's Friday! It's cool enough to go camping!" Alright, fine. I admit. I have the tiniest excitement.

So, recently, I decided I was going to make something out of beads. SOMETHING. But what?

Sam: It would be cool if you made a snowman out of some beads.
Me: Yeah, well, just what would I do with that? (snaps fingers) Yeah, thanks Sam!
Sam: ......You're welcome?

So, since I have my own camera!!! I can post my own pictures! Ever since Christie decided to save up for Annie, she promised me Sharpshooter. Oh, don't you like the name? :-

I've added more stuff to my Snowman Village, but I forgot to take pictures of it, and right now, I'm just too lazy to upload it anyways. Heheh. ;)

A few days ago, I went outside (when it was warm! imagine that!) and took some pictures.

Quotes

I decided I had some very funny quotes, so I thought you might enjoy them! Here you are, Dear Readers, read and have some laughs!

Molly: Sam, would you please go bring the phone here in case someone calls?
(phone rings right after she finishes)
Sam: Okay, I'll go get it.
(Later)
Molly: Oh, Sam! We forgot to bring the phone here. Bring it here, will you, in case it rings?
(phone rings right after she finishes)
Sam: Wow, perfect timing again!

Emmy: Molly! There is a frog in my shorts!
(Emmy is a nut. She changed her shorts, but there was nothing in her other pair.)

Emmy: Oh no! Molly! There's a caterpillar in my shirt!
(Again, nothing there. Emmy and her Emmy-isms.)

Emmy: My head aches. I'm tired. I might faint.

Sam: Rachel, what are Northern Lights?
Rachel: The Aurora Borealis. (Or Arboreal. Which one??)
---pause---
Sam: Well, what's the Aurora Borealis?
Rachel: The Northern Lights.

Molly: Hey Sam, will you please go empty the pool cleaner for Mama? I'm pretty sure it needs it.
Sam: I'm expecting dead lizards and such.

Me: So. Watcha gonna do with that can of chicken broth, play with it all day?
Sam: Yep.
Me: Your best friend, huh?
Sam: Yes. (walks away)
Me: Hmm. (looks at Sam suddenly) wait, what about ME??
Sam: What about you?

Mama: ...So what is Peter?
Emily: A boy.
Mama: That’s right. And Susie is a..?
Emily: A girl.
Mama: and Ken is a Barbie, that’s right.
Emily: No, Ken is a doll.

Scarrup: It suddenly seems very quiet.
Dockwood: That’ll be the absence of the ladies, then, sir. ----The Secret of Moonacre.

We went to get our checkups today, only to find out Emmy and I had to get shots! Emmy was very brave though. She made faces, but didn't make a sound. Me? What did I do? I didn't do anything. No, indeed. I was too busy playing the iPhone, so nothing could divert my attention.

Ooh, everyone is excited about Sam's upcoming birthday! We're having close friends over and then we're going to City Park in New Orleans. (I'm excited because I'm tall enough to ride the bumper cars!) Last time I went (I am the only one in our family that has gone) it was for a friend's birthday, and I was sadly too short to ride bumper cars. And they now have a Ferris wheel! Haven't been on one for years! (Yes, about eight years ago.)
Well, I must now go finish that thing for Sammy's birthday gift! I hope you have a blessed day, Dear Reader, and a good one at that.

Sunshine and Football! WHO DAT!

We are so happy that the rain has stopped! And we're so happy because the Saints play tonight! We know every day that they're going to play, and the day that they're not. Yeah, you don't think we like the Saints very much, do you? Lol. Christie is proudly still showing off her her Saints shirt, while I am proudly wearing mine, too. And when ever we go to our friends' house, or whenever we have our church over, I made sure I could locate my cup in seconds... Guess what it has written on it! "Saints' biggest fan" and an unexplainable messy Fleur-De-Lis--or what's supposed to be one, anyways. I've never attempted to draw another again.
And, for another upcoming event, I am thankful besides happy that the rain has stopped, for I am planning something very special for Sammy's birthday! It is on Tuesday, and he will be double digits! I would love to tell you all about it (if I haven't) but I am very much afraid Sam will come in and read my post, so I shall wait until later.
Well, Dear Readers, I would love to write more, but I need to go watch a certain game on television!

It's A Wet World After All

Two days ago, you probably wouldn't believe, we went to Florida for Labor Day. When we got there, after setting up out trailer (we're not allowed to call it a camper; Melissa says so. It's 'hoteling'), we found that our aunt and uncle weren't coming because something happened to our cousin. The next day, we found out it was supposed to rain ALL weekend long. and we would be stuck inside the trailer. So, Melissa and Michael didn't come. We packed up in about a few minutes before an hour, and left for home. And it's raining here. Oh, but we have lots of things to do here! It's a wet world out there; far and near you can hear the drumming of rain. Lol, I thought that that sentence sounded really story-like, so I used it. ;)
Speaking of stories, Joe made up a story. "How to Write a Murder Mystery: a step-by-step tutorial by Joe Roy".

Rachel: I wish that there was a really good book on how to write a good murder mystery.
Joe: Well, huh, bet I could do that.

And he did! So now, with the author's permission, I am copying his paper book onto computer and am going to publish it soon! I am painting it on the computer. You will want to see it, his illustrations are very funny but good. :p I will perhaps publish it tonight or tomorrow. (Me hopes you will vant to rreeaadd it!)

Back Again!

Mellow Greetings, Dear Readers! It's really nice to be back again. I hope you have all been well and are well!
I deeply thank Christie for not only remembering my account username (*cheese!*) but also helping me fix up my blog!
My niece Caroline Joyce was born on Friday the 19, and isn't she so cute!! The proud parents (Michael and Melissa (The M&Ms)) have been coming over, much to our joy! Yes, they did visit us before, but their visit is now even better! Michelle, sadly and happily, left Tuesday afternoon. We were sad she left, but David will be happy! Patrick started to walk two days after David left for Hawaii (and didn't he have a good time!) which is why she came. By the time Shelly went home, Patrick could walk quite the distance! That 'punk baby' in David's perspective could have walked just a little sooner before he left, don't you think? ;)
I would love to write a little more, but Joe and Sam would like another player in football (That'd be me!). I will definitely write more later, have no fear! It is nice to finally write again! (I know the feeling, 'WHY doesn't she WRITE??????)
Yours,
Molly

Errors! Mistakes! Oh my!

Hey y'all, this is Christie just popping in for a bit to say..
I'M SORRY THAT MOLLY HASN'T POSTED AND IT'S MY FAULT!
Okay, here's the deal. Molly was using the family e-mail for her Blogger account, but a lot of spam was going to it and Mama didn't want that, so I created a new gmail account and set it up to be the admin... unfortunately, I totally, and I mean, utterly and completely, forgot the account name. I tried every single one I ever created for any reason and couldn't figure it out until I was doing my Algebra and suddenly the name just popped into my mind, totally randomly.
So. Molly will be back just as soon as I let her know about this. ;)
(and haven't you missed her?!)

Paradise ;)

It's great to be home, as much as I love Florida! There, we have the beach, the salty huge waves... but at home, we have Sissa and Michael to look forward to tomorrow, and excitement as they move down, we have Stephanie and Dan, and Rachel and Daddy... we have the comforts of home.
I call home 'Perpetual Paradise' because, well, if you come, you'll see a big pool, with waterfalls and the water cascading down beautifully, huge plants, such as banana plants, hibiscus, ginger, all of which are among many other plants. The woods block the streets, you hear birds singing, no cars can be heard (unless they're loud...), the grass is beautifully green, and a trail leads you through the woods and to a lonely road where, by the side, is an orchard (which probably the fruit is yummy, and that explains why we never get any because the animals get them...).
Really, this is fantasy land, where you have peace and quite, lots of books, and cement that feels good but scalds your feet..
I always pretend I'm found in fairy land, it just feels like it, save for the fact we don't have faeries...

There we have it. Can you picture the paradise? I certainly can (as I live here).

An update on what's happening!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting. It's all because we were kept busy over something. Michelle and Patrick came to Florida with us!! Here's how it went:
About a week ago, last weekend, Ms. Jeanne and Rachel had finally gotten here. No one else was expected. Suddenly, Christie and I hear another knock on our door. With questioning looks, we opened the door, to find Shelly and Patrick on the steps! Mama's face was shocked when she saw them.
Yesterday, I walked into our trailer, and, naturally, looked over at the couch to see Michelle and Patrick.... and David!! Now we have everyone here, except Joe and Tim, who are expected mid-July. They said mid-June, but they probably won't make it, having to sell their bikes, and then fly over here.
Weeks before that, we saw our friends that we've known for a long time, but haven't seen for a very long time. Above is Savannah and Cole. Below is someone falling out. It's hard to see, but then, you notice that it looks like someone isn't really in the Viper (the float they're riding); that's Greg falling out.
Yesterday we did hermit crab races and best-sand-building contest. I made 'Wild Adventures with the Roys' water park, Christie did the USS Alabama and Sam did war trenches. Sam and I tied third in the hermit crab races. My prizes were a finger print kit and a magnifying glass with a part that zooms in super close. Sam got a color code thingy and a fake grenade. He didn't really use the color code thing, so I have it for emergencies. ;)
(If anyone has any trouble buying anything for me, just remember that I LOVE detective and spy stuff!!! :) )
Have a happy Memorial Day weekend!! :) :)

This spells...Florida!!:

The beach!
Cameras!
Our trailer!
Yes, we went to FLORIDA! It's officially summer, so you know. you know why? 'Cause we got SAND IN OUR TRUCK!! Wooh! It's not summer till you have sand in your truck. Or car. or on your motorcycle. Your vehicle. whatever. It's not summer until you have sand in your automobile. There. got it.
by the way, I did take pics, just haven't uploaded them yet. Just saying I promise some pictures are coming soon. I'm not lying. I used to say that and never did, but this time i will, don't worry. Okay, just wanted to update my posts, instead of the Easter one from five hunnerd and one years ago! :)

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter, everyone!!! Today's the day Christ rose! Hallelujah!
And today's the day we do egg hunts!! Happy Easter again and again!

...the angel said to the women (Mary Magdalene and the other Mary), "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He is risen, as He has said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before Galilee; there you will see Him. See, I have told you." --- Matthew 28:5-7

Piano Rally!

For those who don't know what rally is, rally consists of four tests, to see if you're good enough to go to state, meaning only three people out of all the students get to go. There is, of course, first, second and third place in each group. the tests are the written test, performance, scales, and sight-reading. You have to get a 98 in performance, and a 95 in everything else to go to state. Last year, I got a 95 on my written test. I got the same this year, too, but Sam, on his first time at rally, got a 96! the rest of the tests are easier, but I still can't believe Sam!!! :)
Well, rally is now over. And guess what! Sam and I both made state! We got third in state, and we got trophies! Sam and I are so excited!! We'll be going to Baton Rouge for State. Although I don't know when... :) :)

Something new!

I've decided that every time I post, at the end, I'll put a joke, and a favorite quote. Putting all the jokes and quotes on all at once actually runs me out of them faster than, well, doing it almost once a week. :)

Guess what! I got contacts today!!! Excited, although I can only take them out. I'm, er, still learning to put them in. :p

Have a good weekend!

  • How would you describe your personal style?
Scared-of-heights, computer person, and adventurous in the great outdoors.

I hate to do my hair.
  • Favorite music?
Trouble by Pink, the Beach Boys, Party in the USA (I don't like the singer, just the song itself.)

Story time!

Guess what! I'm working on a new story. Yes, I have several stories going, but I think I like this most. So far. I have another one I like. Here's part of it. Do you have any pointers?

                         Meg’s Secret Garden

I sat down at my desk and turned on my laptop. While it was booting up, I charged to my dresser drawer and attacked a pack of milk duds. I returned to my computer and checked my gmail.

Daisy: Meg! How are you doing? Finished moving in yet?

Daisy was my friend in Montana before I and my family moved to Mississippi. We’d been friends since first grade.

Me: Great! Yeah, we’re finished moving in. I’m not sharing my room with Annie any more, because we have lots of bedroom.

Annie is my curious, brown-haired, seven-year-old sister I used to share my room with.

Daisy: Excited about your home? You have to be, I know. ;) I’ll have to come see your home as an excuse to see you. :D

Me: Kinda excited… there’s nothing really to do here, because we live on a busy street. Everyone’s busy all the time.

Daisy: Oh. Well, find something magical! When I come, we’ll have to explore.

Me: Okay. Well, I gtg, BFF <3 I’ll see you soon!

Daisy: Wait, hold it. WHAT?!?!?!? What do you mean???

I closed my computer and smiled. Daisy’s coming down soon for a months’ visit, but her mom’s pretending that they’re going to see their aunt. I looked out my window, where it was grey and threatening to rain.
“Supper time!” I heard Mom call up the stairs. Immediately there was a mad rush of feet, mine included.

                 ********************************

I yawned and woke up. Today was Saturday, and I was happy. Now I’d have some time to actually explore the outside for once. I threw a glance at the clock. 7:20. Jumping out of bed, I hurriedly took a shower and changed. This is a reason I like my new room: I have my own bathroom. I rushed down stairs.
“Good morning, Mom,” I said, preparing to grab a cup to dump some cereal in. “Hey, what’s the toast for?”
“You,” she said, sipping her coffee. “I thought you’d go exploring today.”
I gave her a hug, picked up my breakfast, and lunged out the front door.

I went to the backyard, as we had only a few feet of front year before it turned into a road. A busy one, at that. Finishing my toast, I spied some sour grass and clover. I dropped to my knees and started to pick a few.
“What type of flower is that?” I asked myself, seeing some pink flowers that seemed to be part of the clover. “Flowers plural, rather.”
Curious, I ate one. It tasted like sour grass. Suddenly, I don’t know why, but I thought of a series of books that I loved: The Fairy Realm about a girl named Jessie who finds a secret garden to, well, a fairy realm. To get into it, she says ’open’ and there she is.
And at that moment, that’s what I felt like doing.
“Open,” I said.
Everything around me darkened, and I felt like I was falling. I opened my eyes, and I found myself in a place opposite of my home. Sunny, lots of flowers, and inviting. I smiled. I knew what to do. Eat a pink flower, and say ‘open’ and I’m in. I looked around and gasped. Faeries were flitting around, and pixies were playing a game. I saw elves every now and then, some of them staring at me. I backed up a step and smacked into something.
“Oh, sorry!” I said when I saw it was an elf. He stared at me.
“Who are you?” he asked suspiciously. “Where did you come from?”
“Oh, I’m Margret, Meg for short,” I introduced myself. “I come from Alabama.”
The elf frowned. “What’s Alabama?” he asked.
“It’s a state. But I found this secret realm, and I don’t know how far away I am from Alabama. It’s magic you know, that brought me here.”
“Oh really,” said the elf sarcastically. “I didn’t know, and I’ve lived here all my life. I’m Darren, by the way.”
I smiled and said, “it’s nice to meet you.” I held out my hand.
Darren looked at it, raised his eyebrow, and walked away. A fairy alighted on my outstretched hand.
“He’s a dark elf,” she explained. “Dark elves never smile. Or, at least, that’s what I hear, it’s not what I believe.”
“Oh, I should have known,” I smiled. “There’s a book I read about a dark elf. It was sad, but interesting.”
“Really?” asked ther fairy. “Oh, sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Cupcake, named after my interest in cupcakes.”
Cupcake giggled. “What’s the book called? Maybe we’ll have it in our library. If not, maybe…” she looked at me hopefully. “Maybe you can bring the book with you next time you visit.”
“Sure. The book is ‘The Dark Elf’ by Rachel Roy. Oh, ‘The Castle Bard‘ is awesome too, by the way. It‘s by the same author.”
The fairy said “thanks” and flew away.
Suddenly I thought of the time. I looked down at my watch, that said 8:40. Mom would worry. I found some more pink sour grass flowers. Eating one, I said “Close.” Nothing happened. “Back,” I tried. Then came the same falling feeling, and opening my eyes, I was back right where I was before when I was at home.

Yard work and spring planting... did I mention SWIMMING?

For the last three days (including today) we've been planting tons and tons of plants (as we have a big yard) and testing a new gadget that blows leaves or sucks them in a bag, whichever we need. And every day, near the end of the day, my cute nephew Patrick and my beautiful sister-in-law Michelle have been coming to see me ;) aah, I should be more careful. I meant, they've been coming to see the Roys. I know if I say just 'me,' I'm going to get a dunking in a cold-warming-up pool.
Speaking of pools... yes, we've been swimming! You read right. It's cold, but we suck it up (unless it's Sam, who wants to get out right away for a bath.)

Sam: (after swimming and washing pollen with me, and now lying in the sun) Molly, can I still take that bath you said I could take?
Me: Of course.
Sam: Really? When?
Me: We are right now. We're sun-bathing!

You would see pictures here, but evidently, I can't really. My mom isn't really keen on letting me use hers, because (her old one belongs to Christie now) her last one got used by everyone so many times, it doesn't really look all that nice. And Christie's is sorta of hard for me to keep still long enough to take a picture.
Well, enjoy spring!!!

Muffins and more (The SECRET RECIPE!)

Yum! I can smell muffins! What kind, you ask? The best type! Poppy seed muffins!!! It's fantastic. Here's the recipe, in case you're interested. I have, without a doubt, made sure you'll like them by testing them. Musn't be too good. ;)

Poppy Seed Muffins
2 cups flour                               1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup seeds                            2 eggs
1/2 teas. salt                              3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 teas. baking soda                 1 teas. vanilla
1 cup sugar

Mix in a small bowl the first four ingredients. In a large bowl (or mixer) mix next two for two minutes. Add eggs one a time, beat in sour cream and vanilla. Gradually add (a spoon at a time) the flour ingredients till well mixed. Bake 15-20 (18 is usually good) minutes. Heat oven to 375 degrees. If you double it, you get 36 muffins (or three dozen...)

'Nuff said. I'm hungry (guess what i'm going to go eat ;)

Things I want to tell you about. :)

The Trailer

Our trailer is awesome. I think that if I don't have much to say about, it means I don't really have words for it, it's so awesome. (We saved it from falling over!! ;) :) My mom was SOOOOO happy.)

Knoxville, TN

Knoxville is a fun place. There's WonderWorks, an upside-down house. No kidding. There's the Dixie Stampede, there's Dollywood (Dolly Parton owns Dollywood and the Dixie Stampede), Race-car tracks, and many, many things. Like we saw SNOW on the SMOKIES!!!!

The Smokies

The Smokies had snow on them!! We played in it and got wet. Pictures will come later, or else this will be a LONG, LONG post. So I decided on two posts.
The Smokies were so beautiful. You should go there. I think we're really planning to go there next year.

What We Did

You probably guessed 'going up the mountains' already. I wonder how you knew. :) We went to WonderWorks, an awesome museum. The Dixie Stampede was SO awesome and funny. When I turn eighteen, I decided that I'll work there.

What We'll Do When We Go Next Year

We'll go to Dollywood. It's a theme-park. My parents wanted to take us there, but we only had two days there (because before, we were at the dealership, still putting things in.). We'll also do the car-race.. thingy.

Who Was There

My dad, my mom, my pregnant sister; Melissa a.k.a. Sis; Sissa, Rachel, Christie, Emmy, me, and Sam.

Who Helped Get Our Trailer Saved

My mom, my dad, Mr. David, Dan, and sorta me.

Pictures WILL come later!

Help, please!

Please keep us in prayer. Our new fifth wheel has gotten STUCK in part of our driveway, and we are working very hard on getting it out. Please pray that we will get it out without harm. Thank you very much!

Packing Up!

I can't believe that the trip to the Smokies is on SUNDAY!!! Right after the sermon is done, we leave right away.
But, of course, we can't leave out the packing for the Childrens' Retreat, some thing for kids (Sam, Emmy, and I) that our church is doing. Sam is so excited (as is Emmy... we're having pizza and ice cream!! Emmy is so excited over that ;).
The Childrens' Retreat is today, so I don't think that Christie or I will be posting until next Monday, the thirteenth, I think. Unless we have internet, which I doubt.
Also something besides the Smokies, remember. The Dixie Stampede! Emmy loves horses (although I honestly think that she is not going to like being up close to them), and my mom thinks Emmy will absolutely love it. It's a horse and dinner show.
We're sorta done packing, not really. I need lots of warm stuff, of which I have only about... a little more than half of it. Yep, I'm getting kind of frantic about packing, which I rarely ever am. Which means I'm really, really excited about this trip.

This picture underneath is way out of the subject, but it's really awesome. That is my brother Dan, when we visited the capital of Texas. I don't really think he was posing at all. I think he was waiting for us, and was actually bored.

Pictures of Spring ;)

Here's a few pictures I took from around the house. Okay, maybe more than a few. ;) Which one's your favorite?

This one is my most favorite of all!

                                                                   Blackberry flower!
                                                  This is Christie's T-shirt.

New Blog!(ger)

Guess who now has a blog! My younger brother Sam the Bugman! His blog is http://bugman10.blogspot.com/ and it's called 'The Bug Blog.' If you would drop by and comment or something, I'm sure he would be overjoyed! I know you'll enjoy it a lot, being The Bug. Thanks a lot! ;)

P.S.
We're going to the Smokeys, you know, so I'll be posting about the going later. Sam, for now, will tell you all about it. (There will be pictures next time I post! Not of the Smokeys, sadly, but of SPRING!!!;)

Cleaning Room Day...

Today we (my mom, my sister, me, and my other sister.) cleaned my room (I share it with Emmy)...! Well, as my mom would say, "we de-junked the girlie's room today." Okay, I admit, it was mostly junk we cleaned out. Toys from when Christie was young(er), and um... yes, sadly, I am a pack-rat, so therefore it was also stuff I collect and forget about. Two full black gallon bags, and about three or four garbage bags went to the trash. No kidding. And it's stuff I probably will never miss, either. I'm not stressing. There's only one thing we got rid of that I use lots, and that my mom thought looked really junky in the corner. My trash can. Yes, it's black, and doesn't match, but I do so many crafts, and make cards, that I kinda need it. Yes again, I'm weird. I would like my trash can back.
Huh, well, isn't that exciting? Yeah, I know, right? Cleaning my room! Oh... joy! Or, de-junking it. Hmph, well, it's not going to happen again, I can say that, because I'm afraid of another clean-up day. Have a good Saturday! (hope you don't have to spend it doing a clean-up day!)

Sping is on the way!

That may be slightly true. My mom thinks a frost will come, but it's so sunny and warm, and we're all wearing short sleeves and being hot, that it's too hard to believe that there will be a frost. So therefore, we call it 'the beginning of spring.' Too bad it's not warm enough to swim. Everyone's dying to swim. Some of us just want to scream as loud as we can for no reason, which is why a pool is good, because you get to scream as you want underwater and nobody minds. GTG!

The Smokey Mountains!!

YES! Precisely what you just read!! In about three or two weeks... um, I'm not sure, because we had a slight argument whether March 7 was two weeks or three weeks away (actually, we might be leaving a little before that)... we're going to get our new trailer, put a hitch on it, and then we're going to the Smokey Mountains!! Oh, yeah! I'm am going to take so many pictures, you'll probably spend all week looking at them (okay, so maybe I'm lying. Maybe you're not going to spend a whole week on it). After that, we're going to the Dixie Stampede. We'll be back in a week, but hopefully, we'll have internet so I can tell you about our trip. Well, I just can't wait!! Write later!

Happy Valentines Day!!

I made up this poem for Valentines Day. You can turn it into a song, using whatever almost whatever song you want. Here it is:

Hap-hap-happy Valentines to you!
"Happy Valentines to you too."
Everyone hears this said all day,
Oh! what a wonderful way
To celebrate Valentines Day!
Everyone's handing out cards
The receiver's giving the highest regards.
Happy Valentines Day!!

I hope you like it, and that you have a wonderful Valentines Day today!

Warning: Monopoly and a laughing brother is bad news.

So,  for the last few days, Sam, Christie, and I have been playing Monopoly. I love the game. We've finished one game, and you probably know who won. And during almost the entire game, of that one game, Sam. was dying out laughing his head off, almost nonstop. We were kind of being silly, I admit. Okay, we were being silly. And while Christie and I are rolling, Sam sitting there, trying to sit up, but as soon as he does, he goes back down, lying on the bench, laughing. And now, unbelievably, we've started another game. Good grief. On the last game, Christie just creamed us. It wasn't funny! ;) Well, now I don't intend to get creamed again, so I'm watching out for Christie's property. Okay, well, I've got a game of Monopoly to finish.

The Dangers of Being Barefoot and Watching too much TV

There are a few things wrong with being barefoot. One is, you can't avoid sugar messes spilled by your kid brother. Another, in summer I can never stop stubbing my toe, yet I can't wear shoes. What are shoes? Huh, never heard of them. ;)

So, do you like dreaming? Me too. Even if it's about my favorite TV show. I had a very strange dream last night. I love this TV show called 'The A-team' and I mean, I just love it. It's about this group, four people who used to be in the military, and they go around helping anyone with a problem. One guy, 'Hannibal,' plans and is very good with disguises. Another, 'B.A. Baracus,' always drives their car. 'Face' get everything they need, without fail. 'Murdock' drives planes and helicopters.
So, I dreamed they were being chased by these badguys. Somehow, they found my home and just hid in it. My family was out, and they had left me for some reason. I recognized the A-team in my dream, and so very eagerly offered to help them. Wow, what a dream. I dreamed they gave me a pistol and told me to guard my bedroom window... but for some strange reason I went to my mom's and dad's closet for a minute. Then the badguys got in, and saw someone go into a closet and they followed. Or one guy did. And then he was starting to corner me, but I whacked him in the stomach and ran for dear life. Then Hannibal let me help plan some traps... and then the A-team dealt with them and let me join the team, and that's the end....... dreams are weird, but I really wish that would happen.

Family night!

I love family nights! Last night everyone ate dinner while watching 'Hoodwinked,' including the parents. Sadly, it wasn't 'Hood vs. Evil.' We ate a very yummy soup. I don't know it's name, so you don't need to ask.  But it was very good.

Yes, what Christie posted on her blog is true. Joe does know a Belizean princess named Emerald. And he's going on some stupid trip for 3 to 5 MONTHS on his motorcycle, which means WE won't see him for that many months!! :( At least they have a blog!

Birthdays!

My sister Emily's birthday is coming up soon! She's super excited... when we mention her birthday. Otherwise, she forgets about it. If you ask her what she wants for her birthday, she'll say to you, "I want a men" (that's exactly how she would say it!) "and a horse, and a men." She likes barbie men... she makes them wrestle. I don't know why. Don't ask. She absolutely LOVES horses. She's never been near a real life one, and I think she would be a little scared. I know I was, sort of, because I never knew horses were such BIG animals. Emmy has all sorts of toy horses. She has Bullseye, from Toy Story 3, and she has several miniature that come with cowgirls, which she adores.
I have a treasure hunt planned out for her birthday. She loves treasure hunts, and we only do them not so often on birthdays. The map, I'll admit, is pretty cool. I partly copied Tim's (my oldest brother) old map, which I doubt anyone remembers unless they see it.

Hope you have a good week!

It's Official!

You'll never guess!! My oldest sister, Melissa (also the oldest of the family.) is pregnant! Another nephew or my first niece!! Yay!!  I'm so excited! Of course, we don't know whether it's a boy or girl, but a lot of us are betting it's a girl. I can't wait!

We also got a new truck! Her name is Beauty, because our friend who owns a truck called his 'The Beast', so of course, we thought of Beauty and the Beast. Doesn't get any better!

Sadly, I didn't take either of these. But aren't they beautiful? That's the kind of pro photography skill I hope I'll have when I get a camera, or one to fool around with.
This one was taken by my oldest brother. I think it was in Hawaii. But he DID take it himself.
Just too pretty. I couldn't resist.

I hope everybody's doing well, and I hope that sometime I'll have a giveaway. I kind of would, but who want A tiny little heart shaped basket? So tiny, it could fit a jar of potpourri in it... and cute for a decoration. Actually, it could be a prize... for a contest maybe. Who would want it? Just holler 'I.'

Well, have good week!

Hello, World ;)

How has everyone been? I hope the answer's "great" or something like that.
When I say everyone, I mean the world! So I say "Hello, world!"
Today has been so warm, everyone wore shorts and T-shirts... and no sweaters! Yay! That must mean spring is urging winter to go away and make room for warmer weather. I sure hope so!
What if I gave my blog a new name? Would that be bad, or would you like a change? Ooh, I have a good one. "The Rowdy Roy Household" or "The Rowdy Roy's." I think I like the first one, how about you? Okay, I'm REALLY considering on doing it. Really, I am. Instead of www.sassysister9.blogspot.com, It's going to be www.rowdyroyshousehold.blogspot.com... yes, I know. My brother just told me that that was really hard to read. And it's as long as the Frich Family Farm of Faith. http://farmoffaith.blogspot.com is their blog. It's really great. Well, my title is almost as long as their title. I'm going to change the blog name in a bit, so you have time to read this and remember. As we say, "Hokey Dokey, Smokey!" (Okay (pronounced oh-key) dokey, smokey)

Oh, yeah. What do you think about my idea of putting stories on here as well? We could start on one of mine, or start on yours, or make up one all together. I don't care if you have to make the comment boxes REALLY big, as long as you got your part of the story in. Everyone's free to help!

Well, hope you have a great week!

Augh! Summer, come back!

I'm going to die if summer won't come sooner. Come back, summer! Oh, the agony as I look back at pictures... of US in the SUMMER sitting in the SUN having such a FUN time! That is Sam (above), reading, sitting in the sun, and enjoying a mocha after swimming... yes, it is such a hard life for him. Poor Sam... (the sun is hard to see, because of an umbrella BLOCKING the sun. Aah!)
I'm dreaming of out boat going fast on the water, with two innocent kids sitting on our two-man viper (we used to have three-man, but we decided we would like the two-man), clinging on for their lives, screaming their heads off, as they come perilously (did I spell that right? wait a minute, nobody does school in summer! :) close to falling off. After that, everybody scurries to the showers, fighting to see who gets them first, as there are only two showers there (we ALWAYS go to Blue Angel. Big Lagoon is just okay compared to Blue Angel!).
Well, I just hope that all the while we aren't at Blue Angel (Florida, don't forget!), it'll be miserable doing school here, so we'll enjoy that vacation to Florida.
Have a good time (I mean in summer. And now, but mostly summer. ;) today!

I absoutely

hate not being able to go rock-climbing with everyone, or at least going on their adventure (details below:)
love picking to stay home and have the best steak and cooper salad with potatoes and garlic bread (fingers greasy.. beware!)
wish summer would be here already.
love her piano teacher and lessons.
wish I had a camera and gmail.
wish my blog would be better. (hints, anyone?)

I'm really considering in turning my blog into what I'm doing and putting my stories up. If I do that, anyone could help me fix parts, edit things, and get their name into a might-definitely-be-published-book. Vote, please! I'm working on some stories, so you can have your pick. Please answer questions below! It would really help!

1. Stories, or no stories posted on my blog?

2. If I posted stories, would you like to help, or just read?

3. If you wanted to help, would you like your name in the book? (only your first name and last initial, please)

4. If you would like to help, I'm working on two stories. One is named 'The D-team' and the other is named 'How Paige Joined the Fairy Realm.' Your choice. Please tell me in the comment box below! Thank a lot. ;)

Ok, the adventure I told you about (above) is coming up. I only know part of it, so you can get details later on.
Joe, Sam, and the girls (Rachel and Christie) were going rock-climbing. The girls and Joe usually went, but Sam was just going so he could hang out with a friend he'd met recently. Well, about half an hour before we ate dinner, my dad left. With my brother Dan, and they left kind of hurriedly. What was going on? Joe was somewhere, and was backing up, and thinking that he could back up more.... went into the ditch and had to be towed out. Aw MAN! I would have loved to have been on an adventure like that! It's nothing compared to being caught by a park ranger... ahem, doing (heh-heh) something we were really supposed to be doing. If you want, I can put that in my next post, so just tell me, okay?
Well, anyways, hope everyone had a great day, and a great dinner, and everyone have a blessed day tomorrow!

Happy New Year

I know it's a little late in saying, but Happy New Year, everyone! New Year's Eve, some friends of ours invited us to their house. When we got there, Ms. Jeanne (our hostess, my mom's best friend), had a 1000 puzzle piece out.... and she said it would be grand if we would help her. So you know, we agreed, but we only did a few pieces every now and then.
Later...
It's time to go, and it's about, eight or nine thirty. I don't I wasn't looking at the time, but anyways, everyone but my big brother, Joe (who had gotten up at five to go fishing...) and I stay where we are, to help with the puzzle, after saying we'd be back home soon. Ms. Jeanne couldn't go to sleep because she says she can't go to sleep leaving something half finished... so it had to be completely put together before we left.
much later...
Yay us! We finished the puzzle and now it's 12:30 and time to go home! Yeah, really. We had four people at that puzzle, starting at the time everyone left. Joe told my mom twice we'd be home "soon," which was about three hours later.
