New Year's Eve!

I can't believe that it's going to be New Year's Eve already! I just love fireworks, and I'll be so excited to see them, although I wish all my friends could be here. Christmas was great, and can you believe? Christie got her very own laptop! She was so shocked, but was also ever so happy. *sigh* I wish that my fifteenth year would come sooner! ;) I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and enjoyed their Christmas day! I think Christmas is the best time of the world, especially if you know why we celebrate it.
Yes, this is a short post, but I just wanted y'all to know I wasn't be un-faithful by not posting, and I also want to tell you Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Christmas Eve!!!

I am SO happy it is Christmas Eve. I am so excited, that as I am typing this right now, I really, really want to scream for joy. I just absolutely CANNOT wait for tomorrow, for, as we ALL know! to open gifts! (oh, don't forget that stockings come first!!) I can't wait to see what everyone says about their presents, but I am also too excited over EVERYTHING about Christmas.
I do have a confession to make, though. On Christmas eve, when we're (my brother, my sister and I a.k.a. us three, we're) in bed after the Christmas story, we can absolutely will not sleep, try as hard as we may, but we can't really fall asleep until the girls come in and say, "GO TO SLEEP! You're not allowed to be up!!" at around 11:00, and when we get up, it's a 6:something, and we can't wake up anyone until 7:00! Although, we do wake them up five minutes before, because they take a little while in the restroom. I REALLY want to scream right NOW.

Have you ever heard of 'Fruit Ninja?' It's game (I've only seen it on the iPhone so far...) upon which you slice fruit. It comes in the air, and you have to slice each one that comes up and if you miss one, you're dead. You have three tries, and if you hit a bomb, you're REALLY dead. It's fun, and probably would be easier to explain if I had a video of it (hint, hint).

So, just wondering, how much do y'all like stories? I'm really thinking of maybe posting stories on here, and y'all can help me with it, edit it, help me with words, and maybe come up with a few parts. That would be great, if y'all like them and want to do that!
Well, Merry Christmas Eve!!!!! (Oh, has anyone heard of 'Straight No Chaser?' If you want, I can post 'The Christmas Can-Can.' It's REALLY funny.... speaking of funny, how did y'all like the very creative silly Disney princesses? It's awful, I know. Hee hee!)

Presents are meant to be.... (And something else off topic)

opened, and not to be stared at while we wait for the 25 (and 24!) to come...
are not meant to have their tags read until the 25.. (A big, huge, long day before then!)

Okay, this is off topic, I know, but a long while ago in previous posts, I thought I promised a VERY silly pictures... of DISNEY princesses. PRINCESSES. Okay, I just hope you don't not like it, because if you don't like it, well, I can take it off! (Oh, by the way, if y'all want to see the world's largest snake, I can show you a video of it on here! (Thanks, Sarah! It's really... BIG! Hee hee!)
Goofy, funny silly princesses... (Note: Look at poor Alice! HAHAHAHA!)

My big brother is home from ALASKA!!

Yay! My oldest brother went to Alaska, and now he's HOME!! Of course, I don't think it's for good... that'll be a while.. which is so saddening! He went to Afghanistan, so for a while we HARDLY EVER got to talk to him. But now that he's back in Alaska (not meaning that he's not here.. because he's really HOME!!!), we got to talk to him more often. But now my OTHER brother has gone to Alaska with his wife and kid, Tim (my oldest brother.. From ALASKA!) got to see his nephew for the FIRST TIME! Aww, I just wish I was there to see Tim's face when he saw his nephew!
Oh, so, yeah, I just said my other brother was in Alaska, right? Well, there is absolutely no need for a freezer! Good for them, right? Or wait a minute... my sister-in-law hates snow. She loves macaroni and cheese, so when she and David (my OTHER brother... ;(..) bought ice cream and mac 'n' cheese, the ravens ate it! Not the ice cream, though. Michelle (My sister-in-law) wasn't too happy. She and David had to let their ice cream DE-frost when they brought it into their house! (they borrowed someone's truck, because they didn't have their car yet. And yeah, just so you know, they put their stuff into the trunk, the bed... so that explains the 'all natural refrigeration!')
Well, everyone have a Merry Christmas! Sorry for not posting... we were a little busy, but I'll try to post as much as possible! (without posting TOO much, though! for some reason, I keep typing 'thought' instead of 'though'...)

Just remembering...... and a couple of other things...

Okay, I know  I've already posted today, but is there such thing as too many posts in a day? i don't know, so I say no.
Just remembering things today.... as one normally does. But I mean things from this summer. Or, I should think, funny siblings.
Like say, for instance, who goes around kissing their strawberries and saying, "I love you. You're mine." No-one but my funny sister, Emmy Rose.
And my little brother, who WAS eight then, but now is NINE years OLD, ;) stands on watermelons..... don't ask. My sisters, Rachel and Christie (which I call 'the girls'), finally noticed him.
The girls: Sam, get off the watermelon!
Sam: Aw, man. I like to do that.
Yeah, Sam is pretty cool kid. On his first try last summer, he got up on the water-skis and stayed up for about fifteen minutes.... on his FIRST try!
My older brother, Joe, was just reading over my shoulder.
Joe: Why don't you say something about ME? Like, I'm a pretty cool kid.
Me: You're not a kid, you're a grownup.
Joe: Oh, just post something about me and I'll read it later.
Okay, I'm going to say something about him just to make him happy.
Joe is a knucklehead.
I said something about him, okay?! Alright, fine. He's not going to be satisfied with JUST that.
I'll admit, he's an awesome brother. Sure, like most older brothers can, he can do 360s better and more than I can. But who owns a motorcycle and takes you on rides? He does. He's awesome. Awesome, black, fast motorcycle with a matching helmet. Although he uses my other brother's helmet...... it's awesome looking on him too.
Rachel...... do I love her only because she's making stromboli for dinner tonight? Well...................... no of course not! What makes you say that? No, I love her anyways! Haha, I don't know what you're talking about. Me only liking her because I get my favorite dinner tonight? No, why, I wouldn't dream of it! Though she is pretty cool anyways.... ;)
All my family is awesome. We take after our parents.

I am also remembering I have to finish  a Christmas present, so I should go...... Merry Christmas, one and all!
Oh, yeah..... it's NINE more days till CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! ;) :) ;D ;P

Contests?

Okay..... So, I'm thinking of maybe doing some contests..... but I have some problems. I have no idea of WHAT type of contest it should be! Good grief, and I can't give a giveaway, sorry to say, but you can award yourself some way if you can. Does anyone want to do a contest? And, if so, would you please give me some ideas? That would be GREAT. And if I can, I could try and get SOMETHING, if I can, to you. I know you usually don't go around asking for ideas, but I could seriously use some ideas.

Quizzes. If no-one likes contests, I could easily make up some quiz.... I don't really know... I just absolutely  LOVE to give contests and quizzes, but it really depends on whether you like them. Could you PLEASE tell me what you like, if you want one, or.......

I could give recipes! I'm thinking that instead of the original, "This is happening... this is really boring, right?" I could find recipes, any type you like and post them! Of course, I would post something besides recipes every once and a while, like something that happened and is funny, I guess. Well, it's your choice!

Movies Galore!

There are movies galore I would REALLY like to see. First (first on the list, by the way), is 'Tangled'. REALLY really want to see. The girls (meaning Christie and my sister Rachel) are going to see it, but the younger kids aren't, which means even though it's not on instant stream, we're getting it from Netflix as soon as it comes. Then there's 'Despicable Me'. Is it really a funny, great movie? Unknown to me, as I only watch trailers. But who cares? 'Tangled' should bed IS as funny as it seems, so as we should put it. Who wants to watch the trailer? (There are probably hundreds of movies I would LOVE to watch, but it would probably bore you out. ;)
Go to www.youtube.com  or youtube.com, either or, type in 'Tangled trailer' and it should come up with a list of it. Try to get the official trailer. Sorry, I know you probably know how to do it. This is just in case. (I couldn't post it on here..... I'll have to learn, sorry)

Well, that's the 'Tangled' trailer! Enjoy! (if you haven't seen it, or have, you'll enjoy anyways.... I hope)

Christmas, school, etc.

Ooh, who's almost done with their Christmas shopping? I know I am! We have this candle that has all the days of December up to the 24th, and it's burning slowly but surely once a day! (Sometimes twice, if we forget to light it. ;) Knitting is something that will keep me busy like CRAZY, because I'm so eager to finish it. A homemade, knitted-by-yourself scarf is a good gift. I know, because Christie made almost all the boys scarves for Christmas, and they loved it, and are probably wearing them most all the time when they're outside.

School is going good, and I know some of us are looking forward to tomorrow. Not just because we have no school, but tomorrow night my mom and dad comes home! They went with some friends of theirs, and did you know, they got signed up for a zip-line going 70 miles per hour through a jungle tour! All but one friend did it. Guess who signed them up. My mom! My loving, kind, adventurous mother, loving the beach, as she was born there. And of COURSE we took after our mother!

If anyone knows a good deal about horses, will you tell me all about them? I'm making a book all about horses for my sibling, who is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY over horses, even though I'm sure she's scared to death of them, unless they are pictures and books to look at. I have 9 1/2 pages done, but I'd seriously like it if I had even more done. Maybe you could give me picture ideas, as I could definitely put a few more illustrations in there. Or even tell me what I could have missed, and I can tell you what I have, if you want me to. I'm probably boring you out with all that I'm saying at the moment ;)

If there is one thing I'm sad about, that is I can't really put anything Christmas-y on here, like trees in the background, just red and the wording, green. Oh, well. Such is life.

Do you like Disney princesses? I have THE MOST perfect silly picture of them! As I said, I have the most SILLY picture of them, and they're all making faces. One of them is giving Alice (from 'Alice in Wonderland) a noogie. It's very funny, but I thought I'd ask, in case you didn't want me to. Hee hee. ;)

Have a good day today, and as I always say...... "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!" 14 more days until Christmas!!!!!!!!! :D

Gingerbread Houses!!

We're making gingerbread houses! One is a lovely church, being made by my gourmet chef sister and my younger and the youngest brother. Christie and I are making the cutest gingerbread house EVER. I'll put pictures up when we finish, and Christie will, too. For the path, we put two little peppermint drops with crushed up peppermint all around. For pillars, (most everything is peppermint ;) we put two peppermint sticks, and for a around the latticed windows, we put candy canes. The icing is almost pure sugar, so I'm trying not to sneak a little every now and then. ;) Around the house, and for an arbor, we put colorful little candy canes, and the chimney is a ice cream cone cup. The church, which is absolutely GORGEOUS, is white, with a crushed candy all around. We ate making these by ourselves. They are NOT store-bought. As I said, I'll put up pictures, because the church is kinda hard to describe, it's so beautiful. I'm afraid I'll miss something. They're SUPER fun. (Thanks Maggie, for giving tips on how to post!)

Our CHRISTMAS TREE fell over!!

We were picking up our house, maybe staring at our Christmas tree lights and decorations, or the whole thing. I forgot what we were doing, but all we knew was that all of a sudden, our Christmas tree started to come down! We found out that someone was just trying to dump the rest of the Christmas tree water preserve stuff in, and it just fell. Luckily, nobody was in the way, and only one ornament broke. Everything else fell on the couch. Thank heaven that nothing bad happened. That got us something to talk about! Post later, and a Merry Christmas to you all! (And don't knock over your tree!)

It's A Wonderful Life

Ahh... who can beat that beautiful smell of chowder, muffins, and spice? I'm looking forward to fire season so bad. Don't you like to sit by the fire with a book in your hands, hot chocolate or milk and cookies within reach, and a Christmas tree to look at? I certainly do. We haven't gotten our Christmas tree yet, because we're waiting for tomorrow, when my oldest sister comes to help decorate and to watch us. My brothers come tonight, and my oldest brother from Alaska is coming soon. I'm almost finished with Christmas presents. Most of them are handmade, and I guess they're pretty good. I probably would tell you, but I don't want my family either reading over my shoulder as I type, or they view my blog. That would pretty bad.
Loving all those smells, I also like hearing Christie play beautifully on the piano, and my little brother Sam, practice the piano, preciously playing the endless songs he made mistakes in until he gets them perfect. I also like it when my sister bangs her 'drum' (two sticks) when Christie plays 'Jingle Bells'. Well, everyone have a good weekend, and a good night, and a Merry Christmas!

My FAVORITE picture EVER

I took these pictures myself. This is my most FAVORITE EVER.

My beautiful aunt and cute little nephew, Patrick.

Patrick and his mommy.

My silly older brother and our cute little nephew.
My pretty older sister and Patrick, beginning to like tummy time.
A picture I thought was cute.
 My nephew, all smiles.
A little blurry, but who can beat a face like that? Not me.
My cousin's dog, who waits faithfully everyday for her to come back from somewhere she goes everyday.
My nephew and his parents, my brother and sister-in-law, are moving to Alaska, sadly. So I won't see them for a long time, until we visit them in our going-to-be new fifth-wheeler. I'll try to send a picture of my nephew every year to here.

i like...

this picture I took at my aunt's house.

Check out Bliss's site!
PS- Tell me what you think of my picture... pleeeeeez? :)

I like

to have found out how to put pictures on my blog!!!! Yes! Pictures from Thanksgiving (The ones I took) will have to come a little later, because currently the computer upon which they are on, is being used. I will post maybe one favorite right now, so I won't forget how to do it. ;)

This one was taken oh so long ago. I think last summer, but I still love it. Post a little later, with the pictures!
