And that don't get any better, neither. ;-) In a completely good way, don't worry.

Won't you just look at her neat handwriting?? Miss Jill, I honestly say that I wish I could write like that. Drrg now my handwriting looks REALLY crummy! Ha ha. :-P
Sorry all the pics are grainy!! I took them with my ipod because I did not have the patience to haul out my camera...I wanted to read my book, after all.

Anywho, Later chaps! I'll post later with a few clear pictures.

Blogger Award!!

Well, Padme gave me a blogger award!! :-) And in return, I will answer questions she has asked. (I LOVE answering questions!! I am so glad to answer these now.)

1.) What is your favorite genre to read? watch? write?

I love to read all sorts of genres. Fantasy, adventure...you name it. As long as nothing bad is in it, and it's not boring, I'll read it.
I love to watch sci-fi and fantasy, adventure and comedy. I am SUCH a geek and proud of it ha ha! :-) I like reality shows too, but they have taken my favorites off of instant stream!!
I write fantasy. Fairytales is all I'm really good at, but I like writing those. I'm horrible at reality stories, and my stories consist of being in the first person, though occasionally I press myself to do it in the second and third person. And poems. I like writing poems.

2.) What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Usually the top hits...I skip the over-popular ones and the bad ones, and I'll live to be 21 if I listen to Taylor Swift, but top hits are good. I NEVER listen to Justin Bieber or 1D, but that is beside the point.
I mostly listen to movie and TV soundtracks, though, when I write.

3.) What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

Climb trees, roller-blade, craft, write, read, and watch movies...babysit my niece. ;-) I practice acting when I walk in the woods, and I like to draw, albeit I know I'm not good. It's still fun.

4.) If you could visit anywhere in the universe (including fictional places), at any time, and with any person...where/when/who would it be [with]? And why?

I would totally visit someplace kind of like Narnia mixed with Neverland a lot, with lots of adventures like Indiana's Jones', including having close scrapes but always escaping.
I would take one visit with the Doctor, then take it all for myself. Occasionally, and only with people I really trust that wouldn't blab about it, I would take a friend.
When? Anytime. At night, where it is day in my fantasy land, and no one would think to follow me; they'd believe I was sleeping, hopefully.
My fantasy land would include mermaids, pirates, fairies, waterfalls, fern, moss, and lots of chocolate. The chocolate would be in people's homes, don't worry, but it would be an endless supply. mostly of twix.

5.) When you are having a bad day, what do you do to get in a better mood?

I watch Rhett and Link, or take a walk in the woods completely by myself. I gorge myself into fantasy land often.
I have two worlds, peoples, and nobody knows it. Sometimes, I can't remember how I converse between lands, but I do, and it always seems real. I usually write these down, sometimes in my journal, but mostly in my notebook I keep away from people. It consists of drawings and stories, and I can't believe I actually told you that.
Well, it's okay; you'll never find it.

Okay, I'm done. I also wanted to answer Padme Arya's question as to which of Miss Jill Smith's books I won. I chose Michal, one of the wives of King David. I'm very excited to read it, but I'll have to wait until I get home from Florida since it is addressed to my Louisiana home. DRRG I don't think I can wait patiently enough!

I'm sorry everything is now in italics, but blogger is acting weird. :/ It just happened all of a sudden.

Thanks, Padme, for the award, and thanks everyone else for reading!

Well, that's a start.

So many good things happened yesterday. Well, that's a start to a good weekend! Yesterday was great from the beginning...

I woke up, and the first thing I do as soon as I am up, is check my email.
doont doont.
Well, that's interesting! Author Anne Elisabeth Stengl sent me an email.
OOH I won a giveaway from that random generator Rafflecopter!! Yay!
I got a choice from a list of Miss Jill Eileen's books! I was very excited.

After that, I did school. Yeah, that's not very interesting, but I got it done early. Now that is exciting for me. :-)

Then, after piano, Rachel and I are playing Just Dance 3 on the Wii, and who should walk in but Rachel's boyfriend!
I just love surprise visits.

Then my 17 (or is it 18?) month old niece came over to spend the night!

Christie calls me up. "I forgot to tell you, your pay from work last week is here. I just forgot to give it to you."
Well, now I can get that book I wanted to order so badly! I just wanted to use my pay so I wouldn't have to take anything from savings. YES YES I am so excited for it to come. I just want to read it NOW!! :P

Then I got a gift card so I can now get something I wanted to give to someone. OH MY.
And then my friends made a HILARIOUS video. I laughed. So hard.

I hope y'all have a blessed weekend, and hopefully it was a great one, like mine was/is!

Cheerio!
Molly :-)

A post of pictures!!

Today, I decided to post...I'm not very good at this, so I decided to pictures! I haven't posted pictures in like, a REALLY long time. Or just posted, for that matter! (All pictures are NOT edited)
And so I grabbed a camera and took pictures of things I thought looked cool.
Such a nice day. I love spring. Blue skies with wispy clouds that hardly block the sun. :-)
Did I mention that I love spring?
And I end with nothing better than Converses. Oh yes.
Ah, but that isn't even the best part! No, no, the best part is THE BEST part. So for that series I've been reading, The Tales of Goldstone Wood, (which, btw, I read the fourth book. It's my favorite so far!) my dearest friend, Clara, put one of the poems into GORGEOUS SONG. Yes. She did. And I have listened to it, what? A dozen times? and counting.
Guys, go listen to it. Click on the link and do it. It is SO BEAUTIFUL. And I hear she might do another one. (either that or be extremely annoyed by my consistent stream of texts demanding she do another one. Which she got. :P)
ISN'T IT AMAZING???? Tell me what you thought. NOW, STOP READING and GO LISTEN.

Cheerio!
Molly

DID YOU LISTEN TO IT YET??

The Mysterious Benedict Society

I am currently reading the most intriguing book ever. I mean, yes, I have a few favorites (favorites=re-read books about a million times and I still enjoy them) such as Tales of Goldstone Wood, the Artemis Fowl series, Princess for Hire (which I learned, MUCH to my delight, is turning into a series!), Into the Woods and it's sequel Out of the Woods....and one I'm sure will be a favorite, The Ugly Duckling, a play written by A. A. Miln, which I am going to read real soon.
But I had heard a tremendous raving from a friend about The Mysterious Benedict Society. I promised I would check it out from the library.
Lo and behold, hardly an hour later, my sister calls me up.
"Hey, I found a book on Amazon with tremendous ratings. Everybody loves it! I thought maybe Sam would like it. It's called The Mysterious Benedict So--"
"YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!"
"..........what?"

She wound up getting it since I told her someone else had loved it.
So I noticed Sam reading it about a week back. I got a tad curious yesterday, finally, and started reading it. You know, just finding out why Sam HADN'T PUT IT DOWN.
He would still be reading it this very minute, quoting from it for me.
If he could get back from me.

"Okay, I get it. You love this book. Isn't there anything in this post that's REALLY about the book?"

I can hear you, oh yes. In fact, I am getting a little impatient myself, so here is the synopsis from the book.

"ARE YOU A GIFTED CHILD LOOKING FOR SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES?"
When this peculiar ad appears in the newspaper, dozens of children enroll to take a series of mysterious, mind-bending tests. (And you, dear reader, can test your wits right alongside them.) But in the end just four very special children will succeed. Their challenge: to go on a secret mission that only the most intelligent and resourceful children could complete. With their newfound friendship at stake, will they be able to pass the most important test of all?
WELCOME TO THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY.

How does all that sound? For some reason, it makes me think of Emma...ya know, just a little thinking involved in the book, is why.
I wish I could write out the first chapter to you right now. But I don't think I should. I think you should get it from the library yourself.

Goodbye, Tree...

Did you make any resolutions for the New Year? I haven't really, except I'm trying to get myself to post more pictures...

*sniff* Tomorrow we are taking down our Christmas tree. :( when on earth was the last time I posted a SAD face??

But many things have happened, and/or will happen that I'm so happy about, so I can't stay sad about our tree for TOO long (Goodbye, Tree...)
From the author (authoress, perhaps?) that I've been raving on and on about, the one and only Anne Elisabeth Stengl, I have won yet another book from her! That makes two books I've won in five months...I was very happy, I love her books!!
I figured out how to do a link, finally, so click on Anne Elisabeth's name and it'll bring you to her blog, where she is currently doing a Christmas Read-A-Long, which, sadly, is ending soon since it is no longer Christmas and her book is also ending.
So check out her blog, y'all, and please tell me if you do! (Emma you MUST read her books...I'll lend you her third book when you get back, if you want. I don't think you have to read them in order.)
(Clara, did you notice the Fan Art Contest on Anne Elisabeth's blog? You and 'Anna's' picture are on there! :) And I'm so glad you won Starflower!!!!!!!)
Speaking of Clara, you should see her as Una from Anne Elisabeth's books. If you scroll through the rest of the submissions, you'll see more of her! Isn't she gorgeous?!

Cheerio and Clara, I'm determined to meet up with you at least next week. We can't have my Christmas gift to you come way too late after Christmas is long over! (text me maybe, okay?)

Happy New Year!

Here I am, listening to Hawaii Five-O (LOVE THAT THEME), realizing, "I haven't posted in a while."
Deciding that today was the possibly the best day of all to post, I sat down and....well, you know the rest.
So HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone! We're all still alive in 2013!
Here's a few highlights from 2012:

Christmas! I love giving out gifts to people; it thrills me to see how much they'll enjoy their presents. Christmas is ALWAYS a highlight for me.

Having the whole family down for the holidays, plus some. Our family has grown!!

Watching Pirates of the Caribbean for the first time. Johnny Depp, you're awesome.
(Do you know why the raven is like a writing desk?)

Summer!! So many things happened! It was SO fun having Rhiannon down and having Stephanie's family down too.

Getting a Sproles jersey for Christmas. Booyah.

Winning a free autographed book from a favorite author...twice!

Meeting Robert Patrick at the World War II Museum in New Orleans (I still call it the D-Day Museum...)

Meeting Maximus, Stephanie and Dan's dog (a coton, said 'ka-tawn')

Hope y'all had a good one!
Cheerio and again, Happy New Years!
