Muffins and more (The SECRET RECIPE!)

Yum! I can smell muffins! What kind, you ask? The best type! Poppy seed muffins!!! It's fantastic. Here's the recipe, in case you're interested. I have, without a doubt, made sure you'll like them by testing them. Musn't be too good. ;)

Poppy Seed Muffins
2 cups flour                               1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup seeds                            2 eggs
1/2 teas. salt                              3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 teas. baking soda                 1 teas. vanilla
1 cup sugar

Mix in a small bowl the first four ingredients. In a large bowl (or mixer) mix next two for two minutes. Add eggs one a time, beat in sour cream and vanilla. Gradually add (a spoon at a time) the flour ingredients till well mixed. Bake 15-20 (18 is usually good) minutes. Heat oven to 375 degrees. If you double it, you get 36 muffins (or three dozen...)

'Nuff said. I'm hungry (guess what i'm going to go eat ;)

  1. Mr. Wes, could you do me a favor and take some muffins on Sunday? I don't think everyone else can handle it. ;)

  4. No, I don't mind being called girl, as long as it's not Moll. ;P

Mr. Wes, you're right. There won't be any muffins left by Sunday, but you'd enjoy fresh ones, right? :)

  5. Yes Ma'am, I think fresh ones would indeed be quite enjoyable! Too bad for all the rest of the world that they don't all get to know the Wonderful Ms. Molly, like I get to :)

  6. Ooh, sorry to say, Mr. Wes, but we were too busy to make any today. Maybe you'd enjoy fresh chocolate crinkle cookies, instead. I'll make muffins when we're not too busy, because, like you said, none of the muffins survived. ;)
