New Orleans
After Sunday school today, we went to the French Quarter! My aunt from California had until a certain time and wanted to be with us. So we walked. I could swear that almost ALL the people there were wearing Saints t-shirts!! Glad I was wearing mine, though. We rode the trolley twice, both LONG, enjoyable rides. MUST remember: I HAVE to bring a camera next time. I never knew there were so many amazing sights. I know I don't have much to say., but REALLY felt like writing. Give me something to talk about, and I could blabber all day! I could tell you ALL about New Orleans, of what I've seen. But it might take to long, unless you didn't care, and I'd probably include EVERY little detail and bore you out. But we do read books so much, that we have to go to New Orleans again, seeing as we have so many books we have to give back and have finished. TTYL, and write tomorrow!

IT'S SAAAAAAAAATURDAY!!!!!
Since we had all the time in the world, Sam and I built a 'festival' in our back yard. We have a merry go round, which has a game on it called '1, 2,3' that we're still perfecting. We stuck leaves under some baseball markers and made sure they were the same. One leaf under marker number, two under number two, etc. Then sticking something heavy on top of each marker, we spin the merry-go-round until the person can't remember which is which. Then for each he gets right, he get a wagon ride. We made a 'hit the clown' out of cardboard. I would have very much liked to have used Sam, but since we use a hard ball, I decided not to. (just joking. I'm sure Sam would have run away, because I haven't told him ;) Then there were al sorts of different things, but we didn't have very much.
Last night Sam watched as much as he could of 'The Great Escape' with me and Emmy, and now he's created his own band of music with a pipe and a handmade drum. We have tons of American flags, so he took one of those. He made a bandage out of a bandanna, and he added a wrist cast for the American flag holder. He is a very good 'trumpeter,' so he added his trumpeting in.
Well, I should stop typing and go do something else, though I could type a million words in, I'd rather go play. Everyone have a great Saturday! (If you like jokes, my family makes PUH-LEN-TY of them. Just tell me, and I'll take all day to type in the jokes!)

Fort Royale
I'm building a fort! It's awesome so far. Emmy is lending a helping hand, by getting sticks and such, while I build. We've lifted a few logs, but not WAY too heavy ones. I'm calling it Fort Royale, in honor of Port Royale, and us, the Roys. ;) I'll show pictures to you as soon as I can. But one lesson though, in building forts. wear something long. There's poison ivy, but luckily, Emmy didn't get any! She's the one that went tramping way into the woods. Well, I haven't much to say at all, just saying I can't wait to go to the gym! (I know you may think I'm crazy, but it's one thing I like best.)

The Beginning of a Perfect Saturday
Good morning, sunshine! The world says hello!
Today is gonna be good. Last night, Sam, Christie, Emmy, and I went out to sleep on our trampoline last night. We each had a sleeping bag. Poor Emmy was scared. She always normally goes inside, but last night, she survived! It was cold when we woke up, but there wasn't very many mosquitoes out. When we woke up, it took us forever to try and get Christie out of her sleeping bag and off the trampoline to go make french toast with bacon. It was good. It's the beginning of a very promising day. It's delightfully cool, but if you stay in the sun too long, you will eventually get hot. So there at the point of coolness, I say, "Hello, Fall!"
Hope everyone has a good day, and I won't be posting anymore today! I'm spending it all outside!

Hello, Fall ;)
Fall is here! Everyday it gets cooler and cooler! It's so cool in the morning, that Christie and I, when we go for our walk at 7:00 (we get up at 6:15 everyday) we have to wear sweaters! It's gotten so cool, I'm going to have to wear either my scarf or a heavier jacket. Both, preferably. but you do get hot later on, so I won't.
Leaves are starting to turn!!!! I can't wait for it to get cooler! A couple days ago, I saw a very bright red leaf on a pretty tallow tree. The rest of the tree is turning yellow faster and faster!
I'm going to learn how to put pictures on my real soon, so you'll get some pictures yet! It might be a while, so please wait! Since Christie has her Thoughtful Pianist blog at http://thoughtfulpianist.blogspot.com/ (in case you don't know it) and has done it, she might teach me. Her blog has pictures, so you'll get to see some very pretty pictures.
Tis' the season to make cookies! I can't wait for Thanksgiving to come, although I know it has a whole month and almost-a-half month to go. ;( We're going to my aunt's and uncle's house, which is pretty awesome. They have a jacuzzi which will be PERFECT for in the cold, cold weather! My mom says, "You're going to have to remind me several times over just why we are bringing SWIMSUITS there in the middle of a VERY COLD month!" Yeah, I can agree with that.
Well, I am working on writing more frequently, seeing as I write about once every month, it seems like. So you'll hear again from me soon!

Oh, brother.... or should I say, "Oh, BROTHERS!!"
Last week when we were in Florida, we decided to go out to eat. We went by boat, and I decided to go with my brothers and sister. We went, and since it was Labor Day, there was a ton of traffic. And since there was a ton of traffic, that meant there was waves. and if there were waves, then I need to cling on to my seat. Dan loves to go over the waves. If you don't hold on, the next thing you know, you're sitting in the water, waiting to be saved. Warning: Don't go boating with my brothers. I needed to tell you so you'll be on the look out. Got to go!

Cookies and more... I love my family ;)
We made chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies today! (...Or, that is... I did...) Christie made raisin bread as a surprise for my mom. It is DELICIOUS! (Err, well, we kinda cut into it a little, but only to see the swirls and stuff. But hey, it's an extremely good excuse!
We're going to go to Florida soon. Yay! I can't wait! Since Mama went to Destin, and Daddy and Rachel went to work, I haven't been able to go outside, because Christie is babysitter, which makes it so we're not able to go outside to play. But if we're anywhere with Mama or Daddy... we're in the sunshine all day long!
Now, who here is never excited, or at least jumping around for a chance to get to go on a ten-day vacation, where most the time it's sunshine-y? If that's what you do, I'm surprised. That's not normal. But I bet you don't do it.
Anyways... I'm getting boring here, aren't I? I know I am. Once I get started, I'll start getting boring, talking about the same thing for a LONG time. I;m doing it again! Perhaps I'll try a different subject...
Who likes the beach? A perfect place. There, you get to sit in the sun or shade, perhaps doze, a cool drink of Dr. Pepper by your side... it's just so.... just so.. the BEST VACATION EVER!!! I love my family. Actually, my best vacation ever was going to Disney World, but don't let me start. I could sit here for 2 hours, just telling you about it. Don't let me start.
Ooh, I'm just soo excited about going to see my nephew!!! He's ADORABLE. If you have Facebook, THERE, is the best place to get pictures. If you want pictures, tell me and I'll figure out how to post them. You'll DIE to see him! He's so PRECIOUS!
Well, enough said. I'm going to tire everyone on the blog, the longer I make it, so I guess I'll stop. Write later! Or, SOON)
P.S. The reason I took so long to write again, was I forgot my login account, so it took me a while to figure out. I figured it out now, so I'll write more faithfully.
